The Knights of Columbus is a large, international organization with over 2million members and over 16,000 local councils. However, most of the work is expended at the local level supporting local parishes and their pastors, priests, deacons and parishioners. The Knights volunteer as Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Ushers. We take the lead in promoting fifth Sunday Rosary prayer sessions as well as supporting the parish soup kitchens .In addition, we support over 30 events each year in addition to four churches, one soup kitchen and two food pantries, coats for kids, Meals on Wheels, and numerous other charitable organizations. For us to continue to guarantee our level of community service, we need to add new members to our council. This is our single most important goal. Without new members, the council’s charitable work will cease, which will leave a huge hole in the support of our community. Over the next Columbian year (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023), we will initiate a concerted effort to recruit new members. Why not Join the Knights!
